Bad Wives (1997)
Director: Paul Thomas
Starring: Dyanna Lauren, Tricia Devereaux, Melissa Hill, Missy, Stephanie Swift, Steven St. Croix, Tony Tedeschi, Jon Dough
Plot:
The film begins with a scene between Tony Tedeschi and a woman, his secretary, played by Tricia Deveraux. Dyanna Lauren plays a housewife who is unhappy with her marriage and her life. In a grocery store she eats some cookies and more hidden in her shirt. One of the staff, played by Steven St. Croix, tells her that he has seen how she stole the cookies. Dyanna denies this, but it already provides a kind of chemistry between the two.
Back to home celebrates its thirty-sixth birthday Dyanna with her husband, played by Jon Dough, and her best friends, played by Melissa Hill and Tony Tedeschi. Dyanna and Melissa end up in the store where Dyanna is rediscovered in the cookie theft. This time Steven is the crime known through the speakers and the two flee in shame. Melissa has, however, Steven looked closely and she fantasizes about it later, to be with him. Your imagination includes the other shop workers, played by Stephanie Swift.
Back in reality, the film jumps between two scenes, one with Dyanna and Jon and another with Melissa and Tony. Then it becomes clear that Tony wants to have sex with Melissa and Dyanna thinks that Jon is a loser. Melissa can not understand why Tony is not interested in her, but she finds it out the next day when she caught him in flagrante delicto with his secretary in the office.
Meanwhile, there Dyanna their fantasies by and meets with Steven. They end up in his apartment where they have come together on a pool table sex. Then Dyanna hears a noise and realized that someone else is in the apartment.
Review:
This is an amazing movie. AVN awarded this film Movie of the Year: 1997, Best Director: Paul Thomas, Best Actress: Dyanna Lauren and Best Actor: Steven St. Croix. They also awarded the film a "Perfect 10". Quite the impressive recommendation from AVN, but what has The 8" Critic to say????? Well, I'd say I come real close to concurring with AVN! Dyanna Lauren is an absolute dynamo. What a body, what a goddess. She does a fine job acting throughout the movie and the film pulls off an enticing story line. Let me say this: The story itself, is quite bizarre. I don't want to give it away, but I do encourage you to watch the entire movie through to the end. It has some really interesting twists and turns. The first few minutes of this flick set up the story, the "cream-filled" center loads up on sex, and the big finale is quite intense from a story line perspective. The sex? How's the sex? The sex in this movie is really, really gripping. All of the scenes leave you with the feeling that these folks were having one hell of a time at the office! It is all very believable, and everyone looks like they are TOTALLY into what they are doing. Some of Melissa Hill's facial expression are a roar! She had to be having a good time to have her eyes rolling around the way they were! Also, watch for one of the lovelies to remove her glasses so she can take a bit of chowder in her eye! Next time wear your safety goggles! (I will warn you that one scene in particular is a bit rough and may turn some folks off. But it is really key to the story line.) The effects and music in the film were also great. The performers were all quite vocal, and the wide variety of music used throughout the film, from a heartbeat, to a violin, to thrash-techo-punk (?) really helped set the mood, and keep the viewer glued to the tube. You really get tense watching this movie (Yes, I mean from an emotional standpoint as well. )

Kay Parker A.K.A. [Jill Jackson, Kay Taylor Parker] born August 28, 1944
Kay Parker was reportedly introduced to the adult film
industry during the late 1970s by actor John Leslie, who suggested she take
part in one of his upcoming films.
Upon hearing that it was a pornographic movie, Parker
reportedly declined the offer. Eventually she eased into the industry by only
playing bit parts in non-sexual roles. However, porn director Anthony Spinelli
talked her into doing her first sex scene in the 1977 film Sex World.
Her first onscreen sex partner was Joey Silvera. According
to her autobiography Taboo - Sacred, Don't Touch, Silvera mis-timed a slap
during their sex scene, resulting in Parker's getting a tooth chipped.
Upon release of Sex World, Parker quickly became a sensation
in the adult film industry. With her posh British accent, flaming red hair and
firm 38DD breasts, Parker became one of the most popular stars at that time and
one of the most requested to work with by the male porn actors of the day. Her
favorites included Leslie, Paul Thomas, Herschel Savage, Mike Ranger, Silvera
and Randy West.
She appeared in adult films during the late 1970s and throughout most of the 1980s. She also got a small part in the Burt Reynolds film The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982), where she can be spotted during a quick scene at the beginning of the movie. She had a brief, uncredited role as a Moabite prostitute in the historical drama Masada and body-doubled the female lead in the closing scene of The Nude Bomb, based on the TV series Get Smart.
Her most famous role, however, was that of the incestuous mother Barbara Scott in the 1980 porn film Taboo, as well as its first two sequels (Her "appearance" in the Fourth consists entirely of stock footage; in the ninth and eleventh, hers is a "non-sex" role).
In the original Taboo, Parker is partnered with Mike Ranger,
who plays her son Paul Scott. In Taboo 2 she is partnered with Kevin James, a
young actor who portrayed Gregory "Junior" McBride Jr., Paul's best
friend. In Taboo 3 it's revealed that Parker has a younger son James Scott
(Jerry Butler), who, in a darkened room, she has mistaken for Paul, her older
son.
She said during her commentary for the Taboo DVD that there was definitely a mutual attraction between herself and Ranger, despite an age gap of about 10 years between them.
Kay Parker also continued her "mature woman with a younger man" motif in some softcore films, such as Desert Winds (1995). She also played herself in the 2005 independent film Dick Ho: Asian Male Porn Star – a mockumentary about a fictional legendary Asian porn actor which included some interviews with known adult film actresses from the 70s in which they talk about their "memories" of the star.
Parker now works as a New Age metaphysical counselor and lecturer. In 2001, she wrote a book titled Taboo: Sacred, Don't Touch (ISBN 0971368406), in which she wrote about her early childhood, her career in the adult industry, and her experiences with the metaphysical.
Kay Parker is one of twenty-five women of the golden era of adult films featured in the 2012 book by author Jill C. Nelson titled: Golden Goddesses: 25 Legendary Women of Classic Erotic Cinema, 1968-1985 published by BearManor Media.
Erica Boyer A.K.A. [Carol Christy, Erica Bee, Joanne McRay] born December 22, 1956
Her father Joseph Breckenridge Gantt (Joe Breck Gantt), son
of a Covington County, Alabama sheriff, had in May 1965 as Assistant Attorney
General been prosecutor in the mistrial against Collie Wilkens for the murder
of civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo on March 25, 1965.
Erica Boyer appeared in 184 features after starting her porn
career with Cowgirls in Chains. She came out of retirement to work with Marilyn
Chambers in the XXX Dark Chambers.
She died in a traffic accident on New Year's Eve, 2009, aged
53. At the time she was married and had a son. She reportedly died instantly
when she was struck by an off-duty Florida Highway Patrol officer driving a
2001 4-door Hyundai.
Boyer was described by those who knew her as a
lesbian-leaning bisexual.
